Gaia in September

Ok, i think September is the best month that I've had so far in Gaia. It has the coolest new items and I love the new hairstyles! Even if it's expensive, I just had to trade my short curly red hair for one of those. And, voila! A new look! n_n Isn't it cute? It should be! It's a 4,000 gold haircut!

Also, Gaia launched the WWE collection earlier this month and I got cool wrestling event items. John Cena's Cap, a sledgehammer and a metal chair. They also completed the Magic: The Gathering orbs (which I have lots and don't know what to do with it anymore) and The Tsubasa Chronicles items. Although I'm having a hard time thinking of how to use the latter items, especially the cloaks. This past week, Gaia launch The Bee Movie trailer at Gaia Cinemas and we get to buzz around after watching (literally). We get a bee suit from watching the trailer and when you enter the towns, you become bee-sized and can actually fly and even go inside the bee hives in every town! It was crazy! ROFL! And not to mention the swimming pools in town and jacuzzi! Me and my friends are having so much fun chatting and splashing on the pools. ^_^

This month's collectible is also interesting. Im predicting these items (Gift of Gods especially) will increase in prices after 4-6 months just like Oculus Magica which was launched last April 2007 together with Aquatica initially started at the price range of 12,000-15,000. Now the price soared from 35,000 to 40,000. 0_o

I was lucky enough to have Uma in my Gaia life. She gave me 2 Sept 2007 envelopes which I used one so I can have my own Gift of the Gods, the one was supposedly for a superior form but I don't like the superior form so Im just gonna keep this in case the prices soar.

I am looking forward to the next event which is probably November - Halloween.

Calypso

Calypso is my online name. I used it as a name for my 2nd ragnarok character which became my main eventually. Why Calypso? I don't know, I just have to think of a name and it was the first one that pops in my head. I found it easier to make friends using this particular character, maybe because most of them chase me for my very addictive and very much needed skills. Hahaha! So after 4 years of playing Ragnarok, I was known as Calypso. And I use that particular name for some of my characters as well and just added a little something to differentiate them from each other.

Of all my characters, it's Calypso what reflects me the most. And it is with Calypso that I experienced all the craziness of my online life. It's with her that I started to have an online life. The sweet, friendly and fun-loving Calypso that represented me in pixel-landia is my most prized possession. No amount of gold or zeny is tantamount to her, and if Ragnarok is no more, it is here that I bring tribute to my main character, High Priestess Calypso.

First Post!

After spending more than 10 hours a day on the internet, I have come to realized that my life almost had been half virtual. So, this blog is for the dramas of my life online. Yes, I do have a life, an online life. And it's as emotional and as complicated as my real life but I'm happy with it. Because at some point, online and real life converges making my life more meaningful.

And yeah, you might be thinking that I can't come up with a good title. But "first post" is an overused phrase in one of my online hang-outs, gaiaonline. And this is what it's all about. My online hang-outs, friends and characters.

Welcome to the travesty of my virtual life!
